The Ridgway Area Trails (RAT) is a great spot for anyone looking for singletrack options. Open May 1-November 30, you can explore over 30 miles of trails near the Ridgway State Park. Trails are constantly being added, so there’s always something new to explore! Both Ridgway Adventure Sports and Ridgway Wrench offer daily bike rentals right in town.
If you’re looking for a downhill experience, the Telluride Bike Park is a great option! Opened just a few years ago, this lift-accessed park has a variety of terrain for all skill levels. Trails range from freeride, technical and cross-country with green, blue and black options, and there is also clinics and guided tours available. The park typically opens mid-June and closes early October. Lift tickets and passes are available at the Telluride Bike Park website.
